CNS Panel Kits
Bosphore CNS Panel Kit v1 is a Real-Time PCR kit for in vitro diagnostics that detects the gene regions of the pathogens listed below from human biological samples including serum, plasma, tissue, and CSF. Fluorescence detection is performed using FAM, HEX, Texas RED, and Cy5 filters.
Internal control has been integrated into the kit to check DNA/RNA extraction, PCR inhibition, or application problems. The amplification data of the internal control is detected with the Texas RED filter in all PCR Master Mixes. The internal control can be added either during DNA/RNA extraction or the PCR step.

Bosphore CNS Mini Panel Kit v2 is a Real-Time PCR based in-vitro diagnostic medical device, IVD CE marked according to 98/79/EC Directive. Bosphore CNS Mini Panel Kit v2 detects and characterizes herpes simplex virus 1, herpes simplex virus 2, varicella-zoster virus, parvovirus B19, human herpes virus 6 (HHV-6), human herpes virus 7 (HHV-7), enterovirus and parechovirus DNA in human biological samples. Fluorescense detection is accomplished using the FAM, HEX, Texas Red and Cy5 filters.
In the first PCR tube with PCR Master Mix 1, herpes simplex virus 1 genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using the FAM filter, herpes simplex virus 2 genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using the Cy5 filter, varicella-zoster virus genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using HEX filter.
In the second PCR tube with PCR Master Mix 2, human herpes virus 6 (HHV-6) genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using FAM filter, parvovirus B19 genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using HEX filter, human herpes virus 7 (HHV-7) genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using Cy5 filter.
In the third PCR tube with PCR Master Mix 3, enterovirus is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using the FAM filter and parechovirus is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using the HEX filter.
